Hi all,

I searched for a long time for a glass teapot to make the blooming teas in. I never found one I quite thought was pretty enough (so many have that uber-traditional look, which doesn't appeal to me), but this one was as close as I could find.

It works very well. The spout doesn't drip, unlike some of my teapots, and the handle stays cool. The infuser is really helpful and works beautifully. I've had it for 10 months and not a chip anywhere.

Cons: It's less cute in person than in the picture. The infuser gets really, really hot, and I usually have to remove it with two spoons so I don't burn myself or steep my tea too long. The spout is hard to clean--too small for my finger. It just finally got dirty this week (had been running hot soapy water inside and out the spout), but I bet a Q-tip would take care of it.

Overall, I'd buy it again, but I'm still looking for a better-looking one.

I really wanted to like this pot. The size is perfect, and the general shape and clarity of this teapot works well for 1-2 people. Its ability to withstand high temperatures is an added bonus (although I have not tried putting it on the stove).Alas, the spout, despite being well-shaped, leaks tea except when the level is low. It's more than just vapor lock, and so far I have not been able to pour without at least a bit of dripping.I am still using it, but the leaking, which I try to minimize with quick pours, is disappointing.

This very esthetic tea pot is the nicest vessel I have ever used. Of course, I also love very fine and old porcelaine teapots, but seeing your tea in the pot, especially if you use loose tea leaves, is just an added visual pleasure. The color of the brew gives the beautifully rounded teapot its accent. Easy to take care of: just rinse with hot water and let dry. The spout might need some extra brushing at the tip to keep it shiny. Needless to say (I hope!) that glass deserves a delicate hand for handling, but so does all delicate china and other glassware!
May I suggest you go into your garden and find some fresh basil, peppermint, lavender, cilantro, or camomilla blossoms and brew them in your new glass teapot?! It will make for one very ayurvedic teasane drinking experience, good for body, mind and soul!

The glass is so thin on the cover (about 1/16th of an inch) that it fell apart during first usage, leaving little glass shards on the counter and floor.

No more pot. Would like to give it no stars but can't.

I just love this teapot. At first, the item arrived without a lid by mistake, Sun's Tea sent me the missing lid right after they received my email. The teapot was exactly what I had been looking for. All glass components without any metal or plastic parts. Very pretty and durable. The infuser is perfect to filter tea leaves and is very easy to clean too. I brew really nice tea with this teapot more than several times per day and enjoy it so much every single time.

Some people get excited about a cake or cookies I get happy when I have new tea to drink or a cute pot to cook it in. I do like this teapot however I have another I like more. One of the biggest complaints I have is that the top doesn't fit snug to the base so it clanks a bit when you tip it to pour. I suppose this could have to do with the fact that it doesn't have anything holding it in tight (like rubber), however I have another glass pitcher that doesn't do this. I do love that it's all glass though, which is rare in this day in age.

Brewing tea with this pot is perfect every time - never bitter or weak. I like to brew a large pot and store it in a thermos to sip thru out the day. This pot makes just the amount to fill that termos -- it's perfect.

The tea pot is all that it is advertised to be... plus one thing... It is very fragile. I managed to break it halfway through the first use.

I do not recommend this product.
