This is a great puzzle for two reasons -- the art is gorgeous, especially if you like the "fantasy" category of puzzles -- and because the quality is so high. I only recently started doing jigsaw puzzles in order to keep my aging brain sharp. I had to work my way up to puzzles of this number of pieces, but actually for so many pieces it's relatively easy because of the discreet areas of the puzzle . . . your biggest task will be sorting the pieces well. The backing board of the pieces is nice and thick and the pieces "click" satisfyingly when you put them together. There's a nice finish to the pieces so you don't have a bad glare to work against if your light source isn't right above you. The puzzle is also well-made enough that you can't really accidentally put a piece in the wrong place -- something that too-thin puzzles will allow. There's little more frustrating than getting near the end of apuzzle and discovering that in the first few hours you made a mistake that changed the configuration of a large area of the puzzle. That won't be a problem with this puzzle. I liked it so much I used puzzle glue and hung it in the wall of my workroom. Nice stuff, and fun to work.
