These guys drew me in with a frenetic, fantastic performance in Chicago (an opening act--sometimes you get lucky), and their second album did not disappoint. Adeem's vocals, djdq's scratching, it's all phenomenal. Listening to the lyrics three and four times adds depth to hip-hop that is already interesting and easy to listen to. Socially conscious underground hip hop doesn't get much better.
