It's hard to believe that this is a compilation. All the songs sound so analagous. All of which are made up of groovy improvs that will make your head bop. There are no tired loops here. Each song is the product of musicians that love to take a theme and just roll with it, taking you with them on a spacey trip.

I bought into this CD the minute I saw the Zion Train remix and never looked back. The music is sometimes dubby and at other times just mid to downtempo electronica that is very clean and refreshing. Many of the artists are from Canada, hence the north of the border reference. Very tasteful widescreen musical panoramas!!

An interesting and varied mixture of tracks with quite a dub influence which I loved. Looking forward to similar collections in the future.

I love this CD. It's full of mellow down tempo grooves and blissed out beats. I'm quite partial to the first track "We" and I can't get enough of the pimped out skank remix track from Mossman. I'm telling you, buy this CD.
