This is an interesting Beach Boys compilation that features tracks that are mostly from '66 beyond. It has several songs that you won't find on many other comps if any at all (at least not on most of the ones that I know of). It seems to be a follow-up to the Endless Summer and Spirit Of America collections, as none of the tracks on it are on either of those two comps (except "Good Vibrations," which is on the CD issue of Endless Summer). I don't know why this has never been on CD --- or as far as I know, it never has --- since both Endless Summer and Spirit Of America have been. Maybe it's because several of the "rare" (on BB comps) songs are rather weak. (Without a doubt, the weakest is "Vegetables.") They may be interesting, but they're certainly not among the group's BEST songs, at least not in my opinion. There are a lot of better tracks, though, including several hits that ARE among the group's best. Overall, not a bad collection, but there are better ones --- and they're on CD, to boot!
