4.0 out of 5 stars Works on Britax!
This is the only thing I've found that will even fit onto a Britax. Packaging does not include any instructions - but it does attach to the side of the seat itself (someone had mentioned being able to attach theirs to the fabric seam, but I was unsuccessful with that method.) We love it - grateful there's something out there that will work!

1.0 out of 5 stars Worked for a little while.
Too flimsy and the clips don't clip to the seat within 'reaching distance' of a small child unless their harness is too loose. The clip on one side gave up after a few times of having to re-attach it because it came loose. The clip on the other side just came completely off because the thin piece of nylon fabric it is attached to ripped. It's a good IDEA, but that's...

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Car Seat/Booster Seat "Pocket", November 19, 2008

This flexible bag is easy to clip on to car or booster seats. It's very durable (one of mine has lasted four years+ with lots of abuse)! My two children ages four and six use it to hold drink cups, crayons, and those assorted small items that kids love to hold in the car, but can never keep up with. We can't do without it. I highly recommend its convenience and durability.

4.0 out of 5 stars just what I needed, September 26, 2010
This review is from: Sunshine Kids Side-Rider (Baby Product)
I needed a cup holder for a car seat & this is just what I needed. It is a bit bigger than I needed, which mmakes it a little hard to fit on the seat, but it's still do-able. It's also kinda nice that my daughter can fit more than just her sippy cup in there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice addition to our carseat, October 10, 2009

This review is from: Sunshine Kids Side-Rider (Baby Product)
I like that this product can attach to most carseats. I have a Britax & although it was a bit difficult to attach, it stays where you put it. The product has those locking alligator clips (like on mitten clips) on each end & you attach them to the fabric of the carseat. Our carseat is uneven on the side (the fabric near the legs is higher than that nearest the seat back), so the product does not sit completely level. Also, this is hard to explain, but it'll try. The area that I attached the product to sticks out farther from the base of the carseat ... so while the top portion of the product (with the clips) is in contact with the carseat, the bottom portion of the product is not. So if I put a heavy/large item in it, like a sippie cup, sometimes it will tip over & fall out. But having said that, it's still nice to have a place for my toddler to put small toys, snacks, & drinks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great idea., August 10, 2011

When in the rear facing position, the cup holder on my DD car seat would keep the door from closing. I decided to try this to hold her sippy cups. It's great. It doesn't keep the door from closing and holds the cups upright, making it easier than a normal cup holder for her. It's right there, easy to reach, and wide enough for all of her cups. The only downfall is that it is extremely difficult to attach. And, it looks like the claw clips are going to tear off. That's an easy fix. Finding this thing was hard, I'll repair it if necessary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, July 1, 2011

This is an awesome product. Worked great on my Britax and I was able to attach it to the fabric seam. You just have to lift the fabric a little from underneath and squeeze it in the clip. I wish I would have ordered 2, one for the left and right side :)

The clip on the other side just came completely off because the thin piece of nylon fabric it is attached to ripped. It's a good IDEA, but that's about it. Would not waste my money again. I would LOVE to know what side-rider other costumers purchased that state it lasts through many children and abuse??? Maybe I just got the dud? I'll stick to the safe fit snack/cup holder for now.

1.0 out of 5 stars can't use it. Too bad it came broken., March 1, 2011

I got this knowing I was about to get a car seat by the same co. I adore this company and their car seats are the BEST on the market, but this is a sad waste. It has two clips on it that are supposed to hold it tightly to the seat. One clip is fine. The other doesn't have a spring or something because it doesn't pinch closed no matter what. I didn't get it out in time to try it so I could return it within a decent time period. (Not uncommon for new moms) I wrote to Sunshine Kids and mentioned it and the person in the cust.srvc. dept never did get back to me. I keep thinking I will replace the clip myself, but I think it is an issue with safety testing in case of an accident. I do not recommend this product. Also, if you have the XTSL seat, it hardly has anything to clip on to anyway. Better get something else.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Item, November 22, 2010

I purchased one for my son's Britax and am planning on purchasing 3 more (one for each side of two seats). It stays in place, clips on easily, and is large enough to hold several toys. I love that my son is no longer dropping his toys on the floor of the car and crying. I suggest getting two per seat so that one side can hold a book and a toy and the other can hold a sippy cup or snack.

I have a pair of these that my 3 1/2 year old has been using on a Britax Diplomat for almost 2 1/2 years. The basket is made of fairly thin fabric on the bottom and back, with mesh on the curved front. It's held open pop-up style by a tensioned wire. It collapses easily for storage, and so far has sprung back every time it's been stomped on, yanked, or clobbered repeatedly. I agree the baskets look a bit flimsy, and I'm honestly surprised at how sturdy they've been. The clips that attach it to the seat are similar to the kind you often see on mitten keepers that attach to children's coatsleeves- they don't open wide, but they do hold well once they're on. I got mine onto the seams of the seat cover with a few minutes' work, and have had them off and on several times without trouble. With our car seats, the basket more or less hangs in space once it's attached, because the side of the seat curves in and away from the back of the basket, so there's nothing to really support it from behind or beneath. That makes it tougher to use as a cupholder, since it swings inward and heavy items like cups tend to tip out, but it works well for cars, lightweight electronic toys, and small books like board books.
