We purchased this car seat for our second son while he was still very very small. We had bought a Britax Decathlon for our first child because everyone raved about how amazing they were. I wasn't so impressed.

The Radian 80 is small, but more roomy and seems like it would be more comfortable. I love that it comes with built in carrying handles and a little emergency info packet. One note - this seat is heavy! You can see the solid metal that runs the length of the seat. I dread carrying it through the airport, but it folds compactly, which is something no other seats do!

Our son has fit in this seat from 10 pounds and still as lots of room to go. He has no problem staying rear-facing in it at 14 months and we will continue to leave him that way until he reaches he weight limit. It's safer that way.
