I have tried many different kinds of car seat protectors, or "piddle pads," and this one definitely takes the cake. I could tell it was of a higher quality standard when I first removed it from it's box. And after using it one day I can say my little one put it to the test and it does its job very well. It actually HOLDS the mess, it doesn't spill around the edges the way other brands/types do. Great product and a great value!

I purchased this for my toddler, who has sometimes has accidents in the car. I looked at this product and the piddle pad. I got this one because reviewers on the piddle pad complained that the pad doesn't stay in place and this pad seemed to fit more securely (velcro to attach around belt straps and seat belt buckle slot). This pad doesn't stay in place very well and gets in the way of buckling since it bunches up around the buckle so you can't get to it. My son had an accident and some of it still leaked onto the car seat. I still use it as a safeguard, but I'm in the market for something better.

I think that it's ok for use with an infant who doesn't get in and out of car seat, but toddlers climbing in and out move pad around too much for easy use.

After my 2 year old son had a potty accident in his car seat, I decided to buy the Diono car seat protector. I actually bought two so I would have a back up. My husband initially thought it would be a waste of money, but it has definitely paid for itself! When a child goes potty in their car seat, their urine actually drips down onto the actual seat of the car. So...I spent a little over $20 for two seat covers but had I not bought the seat covers, I would have spent over $100 to get my car cleaned. My son has had many accidents in the car seat cover and it has NEVER leaked through to his car seat. I think he actually had two accidents in the same car seat cover and it still didn't leak through. When I took the cover out, it was literally dripping! This product definitely works. My son no longer has accidents in the car, but I still plan on using these covers when we take long road trips. I absolutely refuse to put pull-ups back on him so these seat covers are a good solution to children who are in the beginning stages of potty training.

Also, I have washed and dried the seat covers many, many times. Both seat covers are still in perfect condition.

Sits in the car seat in such a way that is it more of a problem than it solves. It will protect the seat, but at the cost of being able to easily buckle my daughter into the seat.

I put this in the car seat when my kids start potty training so that I am not constantly having to wash the car seat cover in the event of someone not making it to the potty. I have 2 so there's always a spare. Much more sturdy than what I've found elsewhere. Perfect fit in the carseat and does not interfere with the straps or buckles.

One of the top baby products I have purchased. I wish I had these for all of my children, but I only learned about them on number 4. I have 2. That way, when one gets dirty and I have to wash it, I can use the other one. It saves so much time when my baby has a diaper leak or makes a mess with the bottle.

I run a daycare and have a few Sunshine Radian car seats. I got these to protect the fabric of the car seat. While they do work I think there needs to be something to keep the pad from sliding around. I have kids that can climb in themselves and it moves the pad and then the pad becomes useless.

This has been the WORST product I think I have ever bought. FIRST: the product said you can dry it. I dry stuff like this either on low/tumble or hang dry it. I dried it once on low and the inner liner shrank. So I took it back to the store and let the customer service desk know that even though the tag and box said you can dry it, you can't. You have to hang dry it. I bought another one and just hung it up to dry. SECOND: After going through the worst 100 degree heat that Chicagoland has ever seen I noticed when my son had an accident that it was all bunched up. After I took it out to wash it, I noticed that the inner liner AGAIN had shrunk up. I don't know if this is due to the heat in the car during our 4 day spell (this car is not used for my son very much) of 100 degree heat or if because my son is so hot the inner liner melted or what. I will be taking this back (AGAIN) and looking for another item because this is UNSATISFACTORY. THREE: It bunches up when my son gets into the car, then I have to pick him up again (he likes to get in himself) and readjust him, the pad, and the straps in the car seat. My son gets agitated with me messing around (wouldn't you?) and if it's too hot, raining, or blowing snow, it ends up being a mess.

I would NOT recommend this at all unless they get the inner 'plasticy melty' inner liner engineered differently.
