This is our second purchase of this exact car seat mat. One for each child's car seat. This definitely keeps your leather seat from getting dents. I would recommend. I bought another brand and it didn't do the job. Plus the other brand's mat slid around on the seat. Boo. This one doesn't move around. We initially bought the half mat and used it for years, but upgraded to this "full" mat after getting a new car (must protect the new leather!). The half size saved my leather seats on my other car that we traded in. I was impressed, so we stayed with Sunshine Kids!!! The best!!!

OK, just to start out: These things aren't perfect. They don't magically make it so your kids don't throw juice boxes and they don't vacuum. However, they do do the job they are supposed to do pretty well. The reason I'm buying a third one is to protect "my" car's seat from our third car seat. We already have two of these in my wife's vehicle and they're still doing the job admirably (we've had them for roughly two years - the same amount of time we've had our twins.) Admittedly, there is one that is fraying along one of its edges. However, it's certainly going to continue to fulfill our needs.

I bought these things based on reviews a couple years ago, and as it turns out, the reviews were right.

(As a side note: they are sitting under a couple of Britax Marathons...)

When we purchased our new car my husband was particular about 1 thing. The leather seats! We had always owned a car with cloth and yes while it would indent with our daughters seat it would also come out. He worried the car seat would crack the leather over time. So we purchased this. It's nice because while she was rear facing we could just double up the bottom protection, but when she turned around and faced forward we could put it upright and protect the back and bottom of the seat. It has nice deep side slits to allow the LATCH to buckle easier and the storage pouch on the bottom is great for small toys- the pouch is small so think, MatchBox cars, little McD's/Bk toys and pacifiers. Also the top is a Lycra material- smooth while the bottom is rubber to keep it from sliding. And it's thin so I have no fear of it interfering with the safety of my child.

With the impending arrival of #2 we have already purchased a second one.

I bought this protector because there did not seem to be a clear winner among brands and I had one sunshine kids seat protector and I am happy with it. When the mat arrived I can see why it left marks on others' seats; they added black non-slip material to the back, I suppose to keep the mat from slipping on the seat. This is the same material that is sold as a non-slip carpet pad and I have seen this material leave permanent marks on a hardwood floor. So I cut it off the mat. Perfect! I like these mats because they make clean-up a real breeze.

The loop that goes around the headrest keeps the protector in place easily for rear facing seats and that puts it above most other seat protectors. The pockets for toys at the bottom are a great idea but should be bigger. If you have a car seat, especially if your car is a lease, this is a no brainer investment.

I am happy with my purchase--no major complaints. It is easy to use and does a good job of protecting the seat. My only wish is that it was a little wider so that it could cover more area of the back seat in order to protect from crumbs, spills, etc. All in all, a good product.

This thing saves our car's seat from my the damage of my boy's car seat, snacks & drink mess, and everything else he could do to it. I have no complaints about this item, it oculd be easier to secure, however I doubt they could do it w/o making it a lot more expensive. I did a lot of reviewing of these products, this seemed to be the best quality & value, and I'm glad I did research because I have no regrets and am happy I puchased.

We have the Sunshine Kids Car Seats in both of our cars (4 Total).

We bought 2 of these mats. Looked nice online and since we had Sunshine car seats I figured these might be good.

I am so glad I bought these for our car. High Quality, Good Looking, Fits the sets in our KIA Soul nicely.

I highly recommend them. They are so much better in every way to the mats we have in our older car.

(My strong recommendation...Please use a 5 Point Harness carseat**** keep your kids safe as long as possible. Don't be embarrassed even if your child is in Second Grade.)

We purchased 2 Sunshine Kids Ultra Mats, Gray (Purchased on 10/28/2009) by Sunshine Kids to protect our leather seats in both of our SUVs. They seem to really protect the leather from denting or tearing. They fit the seats nicely and were extremely easy to install. These are totally worth it! We received them in a couple of days from ordering them.

After looking around a lot finally a mat for the backseat of the car which fits and is easy to handle.

The car seat does not move when placed on it and tíghtened.

The additional package in the front helps to place additional items.

I can recommend it.
