5.0 out of 5 stars Great old school rock
4 to 4 1/2 stars really. I'm giving it 5 just cause this other joker only gave it one. Awesome guitar licks, solid melodies. Great old school rock and roll. The singing is just fine. What's not to like?

1.0 out of 5 stars Move Along Son....
There's nothing to see here. I hope one star means P.U. because this CD reaks of some of the worst singing I've heard since John Mayer.

I bought the first two Spanic albums (highly recommended btw) when they came out in the 90s. I also saw them perform in a small bar, which was a most-enjoyable experience. I thought they had gone into retirement, which made my discovery of this disc a surprise. And a very pleasant surprise it was! Sunshine sounds very similar to Strange World or their eponymous debut. Great roots music with ringing, stinging guitar (love those Fenders guys!) and fabulous harmonizing vocal interplay. The father and son Spanic are quite talented songwriters with some interesting slants to the standard rockabilly-country-boogie genres. The title track, to my ears, is a clever homage to the Beatles. This is "Milwaukee's Best".
