Great for blooming, fat flowers and/or veg, FLOWERS @ 12 hours a day, 18 hours for veg., good for a couple mature tomato type plants or several seedlings. 2/2/2010 still working great. Love it.

ELOOFA is one of the best LEDs out in the market today. Anyone who says " LEDs are not powerful enough for plants to produce great yields" is either lying or simply just doesnt know what they are talking about.

This light has been excellent for growing potted tomato, pepper and pumpkin seedlings indoors. The older seedlings have thick stems and are not leggy at all, with many leaves. You'll need a decent amount of square footage space (at least 3x3) to get the full benefit of this light for starting seeds/seedlings. Also, make sure to buy an automatic timer (with three prongs) Intermatic TN311C 120 Volt Heavy Duty Grounded Timer.
I gave it a 4 only b/c of the price, but it is certainly better than the cheap knockoffs from LED Wholesalers that get awful customer reviews. It's an investment, and particularly useful if you want to bring in plants during winter to have fresh vegetables.
