4.0 out of 5 stars Best Romance Novel Series
I do not like romance novels. In fact I hate them. I was visiting my mom for a week and got bored. All she had to read pretty much were romance novels. She had one of the Tyler series books and it had the least nausiating cover so I read it. I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up buying and reading the whole series. I think Sunshine is my favorite one. It was just a...

3.0 out of 5 stars An addictive series.
When Janice's husband dies she realizes she's always depended on him to make all the decisions and pretty much take care of everything. She has no idea where they are financially or what's going on in his insurance business. She also had no idea he was seeing another woman. She reconnects with a college boyfriend who was also friends with her deceased husband and comes to...

I think Sunshine is my favorite one. It was just a nicely written story and appealed to me very much. If you like romance novels, you have to read this series. If you don't like them then it is still a great read. They all have the sappy stuff I hate about romance novels, but they also have great plots, great characters, and a rich town history. A recommended read.

She reconnects with a college boyfriend who was also friends with her deceased husband and comes to find that she is ready to start a new life.

This was a very sweet little story about two people finding that it's never too late to start over and love again. The characters were genuine and had believable chemistry with each other. I was disappointed that no progress was made in the mystery of the Body at the Lake, and also that there were very few cameos from people featured in the previous books. This is much more of a stand-alone novel than any of the others in the series.
