4.0 out of 5 stars surprisingly good club jam, December 14, 1999

This review is from: Sunshine of Your Love (Audio CD)
I found this in a Wal-Mart for four bucks, so I wasn't expecting much. Johnny Winter, Buddy Miles, and Jim Morrison are listed on the cover, and it's a good evening for Johnny and Buddy, but Morrison is totally stinking drunk and just yells obscenities when he's audible. Johnny's guitar is hard to make out, but he's playing hot. Hendrix is awesome, with a lot of good blues, a cool instrumental of the Beatles' Tomorrow Never Knows, and a version of Red House that is my absolute favorite. Some really good stuff here. Recommended for casual and devout Jimi fans alike.
