This tool (not a toy) does the job. The grooves are a little close together...smaller than I expected. Your gnocchi dough has to be exactly the right consistency to this tool to make the grooves just right....takes practice. It does do what it is supposed to do and is much easier than using the back of a fork to make the little grooves to hold sauce for a great gnocchi dish.
