I almost went with the 75 GPH version because of the price, but I'm really glad I got the 130. It's worth the extra dollars.

I'm going to use this one to build a water activity table for my 1 and 5 year old children. The 75 GPH would have been a slow trickle.

The pump has a nice long cord (I think it's about 10'!) and it pumps to the height it specifies. At max height, you do get just a trickle, though. At about 1/2 height it's a nice flow. I'm thinking of replacing the pump that came with one of our outdoor fountains with this beauty. Both for the flow rate, and the really long cord.

We often think, a pump is a pump. However, I have bought and returned several over the years because their output was not as advertised, they clogged up quickly, they were noisy, or they could not be adjusted well. This pump is inexpensive, satys clean, adjusts in tiny increments, and is nearly silent.

This pump is a great size for a medium or smaller water fountain. It keeps the water flowing consistently and is quiet, letting the water do the talking. We bought this for a three tiered feature and would purchase again.

For the price I was not expecting this pump to be as powerful as it is.
My fountain is four feet tall with 26 inch of lifting power required by the pump.
With the great online specs you provided, balanced by the some loved some hated reviews I was not sure what to think.
But with Amazon's great return policy I figured it was worth a try.
Boy am I please, this is a powerful pump, at full on it shoot the water 6" past the top of the fountain.
IMHO this pump would work well powering any medium to large sized fountain.
*****UPDATE******* I went on vacation and forgot to turn off the pump and it ran dry for almost a week in the AZ summer heat
When I returned home I thought I had killed the pump, but to my shock it was still pumping away.

Works as described, has the flow rate you'd expect from a lower priced unit. Easily lifts a 1/4" stream 18 inches.

Like the description says this is for very clean water only. Even the tiniest amount of debris or algae in your fountain will clog this pump.

I really liked this pump which I used to replace an older model. It is inexpensive, quiet, has a very long cord, and is designed so that sediment does not easily clog the intake port.

Pumps water as expected. I have not measured flow, but it is satisfactory for me. I was pleased how little electricity this pump uses.

How long will it last? I don't know, but I've had it over a year and it has been running continuously the whole time. I like it.

When I first installed the pump, it would not pump water more than two feet or so. I discovered a kink in the hose and bought a stiffer hose and now It goes over three feet and i had to turn it down. I'm very pleased with the new pump.

It's definitely less noisy than the water flowing in my (noisy) 21 inch rise fountain, but you can still hear a low hum from 10 feet away. It could be annoying with a quiet fountain.

Turned down all the way, the flow adjustment doesn't lower the flow much; *maybe* down to 3/4 of its normal flow. I cut a small hole in my 1/2 inch tube to lower the flow a bit more, right above where it connects to the pump. It works fine so far, but I've only had it running a short time.

NOTE: If you have a tight space to fit your pump, it's actually bigger than listed, at about 3.25 X 3.5 x 1.5 inches. I submitted a change request, but my pump is already installed and it's not worth it to drain and disassemble the whole fountain just to send photos of measurements to Amazon or Sunterra to justify the correct numbers.

Pump works great right out of the box. Have a 2-3 ft lift as stated is a stretch. The unit just does make it to the top of our fountain with no room to spare. My previous pump was smaller and did a better job. As a word of advice, buy at least one level higher than your needs. You can always adjust it down if too strong!
