5.0 out of 5 stars Hey Day Rocks
Hey Day is chock full o 365 days' worth of good times. From psyching yourself out of bed in the morning with productive thoughts (Jan. 1) to starting New Years traditions (Dec. 30) and everything - I do mean EVERYTHING - in between, this is your do-something guide to life. Or you can just read it in bed one rainy day and not do anything. (The choice is yours.)

1.0 out of 5 stars headache inducing....
as I'm on a crafty kick, I ordered this book on a discount book site cause it looked fun, quirky and frankly, was cheap as chips...
Sadly, thank goodness I got this book cheap. It's horrible.

My biggest complaint-the text and photos are done in a scrapbook or journal way that was supposed to be cool but actually made the book literally impossible for...

Tho Hey Day is ostensibly for "young teens" I think girls of various ages would dig it...and you never know when you're gonna need that recipe for bloodshot eyeball cupcakes or homemade lip gloss.

So put it right next to Encyclopedia Brittanica and the dictionary. But read it more.

Okay so you're bored. Now what? Check out Keva and Clea's book to get some ideas on turning oh-hums into a-has! These ultra-hip chicks used to run Foxy magazine, but now they're just having fun on their own. Read about George (their dog), guitar chords to learn and stickers to make. Their book, which really looks like a cool bound zine) gives you pointers of fun stuff to do every day of the year - from funky crafts to things to ponder. (...)

5.0 out of 5 stars The Book Kept Disappearing..., June 2, 2002

I must admit it took me a lot longer than it should have to write this review. One of the main reasons is simple: the book kept disappearing. My friends enjoyed this book just as much as I did, and I heard, "Can I borrow it just for one day?" and "Oh, I'm sorry I forgot it!" more times than I would care to count. But the book's journey is certainly a tribute to just how fabulous it is. It went from Rebecca the super-vegan, to Ruchi the Hindu dance queen, to Andrew the master cartoonist, to Darryl the sports guru, to Lauren the punk princess. The book had the same effect on all sorts of people. No one can read it and not smile, or at least come out of it a little happier than before.

This is the daybook for Aquarians or for other time-impaired people. It gives you something fun to add to your daily agenda. The ideas range from deceptively simple, like pretending you're a Spice Girl; to crafty, like making a glitzy tampon case; to silly, like tying a yellow ribbon around an old oak tree. Even the title is cool! Hey Day! The Super-Amazing Funk-da-Crazing Ultra-Glazing Day Book: Things to Do, Make, and Ponder Every Day of the Year, by Super Clea and Keva Marie.

It certainly keeps its promise of being the craziest, weirdest, and most thoroughly enjoyable daybook you will ever encounter. It's a definite must for any crazy chick who's open to new ideas or for a not-so-crazy chick who wants to be a bit sillier. A great de-stresser for homework swamped friends and sisters, too.

I heard about this book from a friend, she knows the girls who wrote it. I went and bought it at the bookstore for my niece, who is 12. I was really impressed with the amount of great information it had for young female minds. Plus, it was hilarious. So I went on Amazon and bought three more copies, but this time I got them for my close girl friends, who are 22 and 24. It's aimed at teens, but it has so many cool ideas and inspirational (but not in that hokey way) messages that I really think my friends will appreciate it too. A seriously great gift for any young, cool chica!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hey Day Girls Kick Ass!, January 18, 2002
This review is from: Hey, Day! Super-Amazing, Funk-da-crazing, Ultra-glazing Things to Do, Make and Ponder Every Day of the Year (Paperback)
Clea and Keva are the really, really, REALLY cool big sisters that you've always wanted. In Hey, Day! they share boy advice, style tips, and just cool hip ideas for things to "do, make and ponder 365 days of the year". While reading through Hey, Day! I noticed a couple things: 1. Its totally homemade zine-like feel, and 2. Its suitability for cool girls of any age. Clea and Keva are the WISE big sisters you've always wanted...and they give non-condescending advice and tips in cool ways that girls will understand and respect. Awesome!!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Hey, Day! Super-Amazing, Funk-da-crazing, Ultra-glazing Things to Do, Make and Ponder Every Day of the Year (Paperback)
This book is so cool because it's written by two best friends. So some of the things in there are things that best friends will love, mostly things that they've done and loved and they think we will do and love them, too. It's also cool because it has stuff to do every single day of the year (well, not leap years). You can never get bored with it! And the coolest part is, the author has her own online advice column just for girls! Go to www.girlsense.com and then click on ADVICE and click on Super Clea's Corner.
