Verified Purchase
My darling boy has taken to reading with an absolute PASSION ever since his teacher grandmother bought him the first book in this series of four books (we are waiting for more). My child's teacher saw this reading passion ignite and suggested to the school librarian that the library should purchase a set. This was my child's first graphic novel (comic format) and I liked the words that the author had chosen as they were all appropriate for his reading stage. Regular comics have such a wide variety of word difficulty that they would be a little difficult to enjoy when you are just learning to read. This, however, was perfect and challenged him somewhat. I was delighted he was able to enjoy this reading challenge. This kindle version was good but we will get the paper copy when it becomes available.
