This review is from: Super Bases Loaded 2 (Video Game)
This one allowed you to build your own team and play against the computer teams. Players performed up to their stats. The music and sounds were pretty good. You could save seasons, set up different kinds of schedules and play your way through.
Pretty responsive player control, especially with the pitching and hitting. Not so much with the fielding. No real teams, but like the old Bases Loaded series for the NES, which was very popular, this game was rather addictive. Graphics were hit and miss, with some distorted looking out of proportion bodies --- this was most apparent when they were moving along the bases. It wasn't too difficult to beat the computer. Still, recommended and good for its time (mid 90s). I tried the other Bases Loaded games for the SNES (three versions were created) and liked this one the best. |
