This solar light set says super bright on the box but the advertising is as phoney as a $3 bill. I put a $2.50 Menards solar light next to it and the Menards brand was brighter than this one--and the Menards was not even that bright! It's a nice looking set but that does me no good at night with such a dim light output.

You get what you pay for. this lights look so much better in the pictures. In reality they look cheap and they dont produce a lot of light.

These little lights generate a soft glow that illuminates my concrete path perfectly. My bedroom looks over the walkway and the light is soft - it doesn't glare. The construction of these lights is fairly flimsy and my dogs have knocked them over a few times, but they easily 're-assemble" and continue to work just fine. For the low price I am delighted, I have a lighted path, and although flimsy, they hold up to repeated disruptions by clumsy dog feet - these are BIG dogs. I rated a 4 because they could have spared just a wee bit more plastic to the posts - they are a tad too short.
