Came in a sealed box and ran fine. Looked and ran like the deal at 1/3 the cost. Came in real fast. Much better Deal than Dell. Im sure the insides are the same I would assume like everything there are only a few Mfg these batterys.

Sisoft Sandra identifies my battery as being made by Sony.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of this claim, but the battery is running strong with no diminished capacity or noticeable wear in the roughly 6 months since install. I would buy again.

The first battery I received would not charge. Customer service seemed to work about 12-15 hours behind me by email, but they worked hard to resolve the issue and when it would not resolve itself, promptly shipped a new battery which works very well. Fast shipping.

First of all, let me say that the seller was great at communicating with me and trying to solve any issues that I had. I tried using this battery on a Dell Inspiron 5160, but unfortunately, this battery did not work for me. In fact, after the first one did not work I sent it back and received a new one. The second one also didn't work. Each time I returned a defective battery I had to shell out $6 for shipping.

Here's what went wrong: I would put the new battery in my laptop and wait for it to recharge. Once recharged I would unplug the AC adapter and use the laptop for a couple of hours, but the battery light would start flashing an orange color after maybe an hour. When I plugged the AC adapter back in the battery charge would not go up. In other words, the battery charge would stay at, say, a constant 65% and not charge. Same thing happened with the second one I received. I gave up.

Hope others have had better experiences than me.

Battery replaced defective original. As noted by many reviews, this one seems to have a longer operating period after a full charge.

The battery seemed OK when I received it. I usually keep the laptop on my desk and plugged in. After a few months I took the laptop computer off to another room. The battery failed in less than a half hour. After connecting the computer again to the outlet the battery did not seem to recharge for more than a few minutes.
On boot-up, Ubuntu-Linux reports that the battery is broken and does not hold more than 10% charge.

I'm getting four hours of battery time on my old dell inspiron 1100. That's never happened before with batteries costing twice as much. I ordered another for my father. He was going to go spend $135.00 at Staples. Delivery was prompt in both cases. Definite 5 star for service and product quality.

This "Super Capacity" battery last no longer than a standard one. In fact it does not last any longer than the five year old Dell battery I replaced. I "cycled" the new battery as instructed, it just does not last very long.
