Ok, I am all for colon cleansing. I try to get colonics once a month, pocketbook permitting. Alas, this time of year, money is tight, so at a friend's suggestion, I bought the Super Cleanse. Day One, I took the 4 pills morning and night. Nothing happened. Day 2, I took the morning dose (4 pills) By noon time, I was running to the bathroom every 10 minutes or so for a few hours. NOT fun. I was at work. I stopped the dosing and started investigating Senna. By most accounts, that were not advertising a product, recommended doses seemed to be FAR under what Super Colon Cleanse recommends. Several site said Senna was toxic in high doses. Seems that anything over 20-40mgs is considered overdosing. Super Colon Cleanse is 576mg and then 3 times a day! So... yeah, it may
be natural. So are a lot of herbs that are considered toxic. Btw... a product that my naturalpath prescribes does contain some senna, mixed in with other herbs and I have never had a reaction to it. My guess is that the 576mgs
is pretty intense, expecially for someone that has a colon that is more or less, in good shape, due to proper diet
and regular colonics. Think I will pass on this product...... and stick to a healthier alternative. Proper food combining, pro-biotics, and the occasional food enzymes and regular colonics.

I would like to like this product, it always seem to have really high reviews everywhere, and I can get it at trusty and cheap ol' Trader Joes (grocery store). But unfortunately I cannot take it cause after 1-2 days I can't keep anything solid in my body. It contains something called Senna which works as a natural laxative. The dosage is pretty high, 4 capsules 3 times a day. I have tried taking half of that and it was still too potent. I think I might try their regular colon cleanse product which only contains Psyllium powder.

If you're looking for something to cleanse the colon then look elsewhere. As noted on the bottle this product is for people looking to add extra fiber to their diet. Taking 12 pills a day with extra iron is a waste and could be hazardous to your health. These pills did nothing for me and you're better off just taking fiber pills. Don't bother with this one.

This Colon Cleanse worked well for me, however it did seem to cause cramps after a week on it, & I only took it twice a day. Twice a day after a week seemed to much as I had a lot of cramps, so I went to once a day. After a month I discontinued it for awhile, I didn't like the cramping.

I was expecting to feel like new or something...not the case. This was nothing more that a bunch of fiber pills. It did make me go without cramps, but so do prunes.

I bought this supplement from Whole Foods about 3 weeks ago. I took it exactly as suggested, and by the end of the first day I was horribly constipated and bloated. My stomach was sticking out like one of those poor African kids with bellies swelling due to ascites. It was terribly painful all through the night, and I didn't get a single wink of sleep. Finally, the constipation and gas let up and out came my stools. After about 5 or 6 toilet breaks, I was done... or at least I thought I was.

After that terrible experience, I immediately quit taking the pills. 3 weeks since taking this product, I am still having stomach problems. I get random constipation and painful digestion deep in my bowels several times a week. I am seeing a gastroenterologist next week because the discomfort has become such a problem.

To anyone considering to purchase product, I implore you to stop! Detox products are scams, and we are not intended to have our entire colons cleaned out. There are bacteria in our digestive tract that are SUPPOSED to be there. Don't mess with them using some cheap colon cleansing product like this one. If you want a healthier colon, just start eating healthier foods.

PLEASE READ!!!! I hope people read this review before they buy!!! These pills actually work great. However, you should really only take about four pills a day. If you take the recommended dosage you will never leave the bathroom! I never take more than four pills a day and i skip a day at least once a week. Also, never take them on an empty stomach or they will make your stomach hurt. Always take them after meals. Follow this and they will work for you. They keep my system cleaned out and it's much easier for me to maintain a healthy weight. Feel free to ask me questions. BYE

This product made me have really bad smelly gas! I was bloated for days so I stopped taking it.

This product did not work for me it all... It made me feel sick in my stomach. Not for me.

after seeing reviews for this product before buying, I decided to only use half the recommended dosage because people had said that the dosage was too much. After not experiencing ANY results after day 1 of the colon cleanse, I upped the dosage to the recommended 12 capsules a day. It is now day 3 and I haven't seen any results yet. The reviews said that 12 capsules were too much, but I beg to differ. I will update as I get closer to day 10, but disappointed as of now.
