This is what Mario is all about!!!!,

= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (Gameboy Color) (Video Game)
It has felt like a long time since I played this classic game back in the NES days and, I thought the gameboy advance version was a little too pricey. Recently I took a second look at this game because I thought that it would just be a second rate game since it was for the gameboy color. I could not be more wrong in thinking that since I saw the images of this game and the addition of the lost levels, I decided to recently buy this game on this website. Amazon service is great but as for the game I played and passed every challenge in this game and, it brought back the classic game just as I remembered it. I had a blast with all of the challenges and, I still can't stop playing this game. I was able to relive the challenge of the original game, played the lost levels and the extra challenges for the very first time and, I can say this is the true original plus much more. If you're like me and not sure what to expect from this game but, you miss the classic just like I did, you can try it from someone you know or you can just buy this game for yourself. You won't be disappointed with this game.

Fun, but not the same as the classic SMB,
A Kid's Review
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (Gameboy Color) (Video Game)
This game was great fun, and a few extras added onto it, but some things from the original SMB were left out. Instead of simply going through the levels, there is a map screen where you can change from Mario to Luigi. Playing as Luigi, you notice that his old outfit is gone! Instead it is Mario's outfit with green overalls and hat. However, when you collect a Fire Flower, Luigi dons his classic "Super" outfit. This was probably to determine Fire Mario from Fire Luigi. Also, the saving. If you save, you lose all of your points/coins when you restart. Not much to complain about, but still. Lastly is the feel. I know I'm playing on a Gameboy Advance, but it doesn't have the feel of a classic NES game. You can't feel the NES controller while looking at a ginormous TV screen. This leads to alot of screw-ups. Some things were good. Like the ability to unlock a mini-game race called "You vs. Boo" and "Super Mario Bros. 2" from Japan. It was basically referred to as "Super Mario Bros. for Super Players" because it was deemed too hard for North American Players. You also get Challenge Mode, where you go around collecting coins and Yoshi eggs. This is all enough to hold you off for about 1 week straight. Great game, recommended for sort-of-modern day Mario fans. Recommended buying the original for classic gamers.

Best game ever gets remade,
A Kid's Review
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (Gameboy Color) (Video Game)
This version not only includes the complete original game, but has a VS, Challenge, and even a "Toy Box". It even includes the Japanese SMB2(but you have to unlock it)! Best game for the Color, if not the best game ever! I still play it today after I got it in 1999 (six years ago!). Buy this game now !!!!
