Super Double Dragon is the 4th double dragon game to headline a nintendo console, this time it was picked up again by tradewest for the publishing, the game is one of the best co-op fighting games ever to hit the SNES system yet a memorable game as well, but there is some downside about it, first the game can be hard for newcomers and missing the difficulty selection from it's Japanese counterpart another thing, which it's common in all of the double dragon games theres no health pick up so your character will take full damage unless you clear the level before losing a life, another con is with the weapons you still lose the weapon your holding when moving on to a new area of the level, now the good the combat has been improved with the new hardware capabilites the game uses all the buttons and it now has a seprate jump button and a new block move and during blocking you can catch an enemiy's arm and counter with a furry of punches and kicks or throw them to the enemy behind you, also the shoulder buttons are use to charge for additional attacks such as a spin back fist or spin kick then if the meter is half full you can do the cyclone kick, if the meter is full you go into a power mode which all your punches and kicks can knock the enemy down with one strike, in conclusion this is one the best Double Dragon games ever and i highly recommeded it if you own a SNES.

if you are a DOUBLE DRAGON fan which im heavely into since i was little now 26, i recommend this game. best in the series don't get me wrong i enjoyed the other sequels (exept for part 5 based on the cartoon which wasn't a beat em up) but this is the easiest, no platformish type levels. Great action, great music, great graphics, nice weapons, just about everything is perfect in this game. Check it out.

i have this and its tons of fun you can get weapons like staffs,nunchucks all that good stuff and it's a adventure through out the game.this is like the best double dragon ever so buy it now and it's worth your time.

This game is short & sweet. The game is not really difficult and also does not include a large variety of enemies. The are a number of random "so~called" bosses that add a little interest. The fighting techniques are the best part of this game in my opinion. There are a considerable variety of techniques to kill enemies in different degrees including the odd weapon to help throw in a little twist. The game is not very long but I still enjoy beating it out from time to time. Overall it is definitely a solid SNES game.

love this game and its was kind of ahead of its time for a beat em up game because you can pretty much create your own combos and make the game play look realy good. people should appreciate old school games period instead of actign like theyre too good for this now.
