4.0 out of 5 stars Gread product, but shipping cost is too high
It's really easy to tell when it's time to "recharge." (You heat it in the microwave or oven.) There's a large quantity of drying material inside, so it's very effective. It's a heavy glass jar -- not easy to break or knock over. Someone else said there's not quite enough room inside. Not so, seems to me. My hearing aids are behind-the-ear, so they're not tiny. 2.0 out of 5 stars Not good for behind-the-ear's
I bought this for my hearing aid, but the jar is a little too small for behind the ear units. Also, the color indication for saturation of the pellets does not work. All-in-all, I guess I wasted my money on this.

There's plenty of room. If you have really, really big hearing aids, you can dump out some of the drying material to make more room.

On the other hand, this product is not sold or shipped by Amazon, so you don't get Amazon's reasonable shipping rates. Instead the product costs $15 and shipping is $7.50. The actual shipping cost is probably around a dollar. This is insulting and offensive. Do they think we are stupid? An honest seller would charge actual shipping cost, and raise the price, if necessary to make a fair profit. I thought about three stars for this reason alone, but decided on four instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have for Moisture Problems, July 15, 2008

If you often get moisture in your hearing aid or the tubing, you MUST get one of these! I use them in my classroom if the kids wear their hearing aids outside to recess... it pulls the moisture right out. It's best to store your H.A. in this at night to keep it dry. Remember to remove the battery before placing your H.A. inside. The cartridge inside can be placed in the oven to dry it out when it changes color, then it's ready to use again and again!

Mini Super Dri Aid This is my second jar used for keeping my two hearing aids dry, which is very important for hearing aids. The first jar probably would have lasted forever, but the label was dirty, so I wanted a new one.

I continue to use this product for my hearing aids, although I initially expected more of it than is perhaps reasonable. I find it comparable to other dessicators sold for this purpose. Had I known the others were available to me at no cost through my medical plan, I would not have ordered this one. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with it.

Highly recommended by my hearing aid specialist. Works better than generic types I found at CVS. Will order this one always from now on to keep hearing aid free of moisture.

This is my second jar. The first one would still be usable if my granddaughter had not dumped out all the little beads all over my floor. I was only able to recover about half of them. So I am ordering a new jar. Even though I have switched to behind the ear hearing aids I am not anticipating any issues. This stuff really works.

Been using this for years. When the blue turns white, spread the beads on a cookie sheet and put in the oven till they turn back to blue. Works great and don't have any moisture in aids. Fits one behind the ear aid.

This product works great. We live in a very humid area and my son sweats like crazy....no "shorting" out of hearing aids since having this dehumidifier.
