I bought them because my cholesterol is slightly elevated. I like the product so far because it is free of lead and heavy metals. Products over the counter don't list any information about this. Also they test and list the dose of the fish oil, so youknow what you are taking. I might recommend this to someone who needs more omega-3 in their diet, but I need to see the...

READ the fine print!
The product title is false advertising "Super EPA by NOW Foods - (1200mg - 120 Softgels)". It takes two Softgels to equal 1200mg. So you don't get 1200mg out of each of the 120 Softgels as the title implies. This means there are only 60 doses in the bottle making it twice as expensive. I missed the fine print under "Product Features" and only read the...

I bought them because my cholesterol is slightly elevated. I like the product so far because it is free of lead and heavy metals. Products over the counter don't list any information about this. Also they test and list the dose of the fish oil, so youknow what you are taking. I might recommend this to someone who needs more omega-3 in their diet, but I need to see the results of my blood work in a couple of months first. You can go to their web site to review their products and certifications.

The product title is false advertising "Super EPA by NOW Foods - (1200mg - 120 Softgels)". It takes two Softgels to equal 1200mg. So you don't get 1200mg out of each of the 120 Softgels as the title implies. This means there are only 60 doses in the bottle making it twice as expensive.I missed the fine print under "Product Features" and only read the Ingredients which does not specify that it takes 2 Softgels to get the listed EPA 720mg and DHA 480mg. I don't believe having to take twice as much to get the listed dosage is a feature. My error, but I will never buy again! |
