twisted!,

This review is from: Super Fetus (Paperback)
This novella is based on a short story written for a Gross Out Competition. The author had taken the original story and expanded it, and the novella is as demented and twisted as the short story it is based.
Because the plot involves a fetus who refuses to leave his mother's womb no matter what she tries to do to stop him, so you know this is going to be a sick read. The characters are all bizarre, with odd defects, disorders, missing body parts; everyone is a scumbag; there is a lot of twisted sex, and an amazing ending. I'd love to see an illustrated version of this book. highly enjoyable, I tore through it in two sittings.

Super(b) Read!,

This book was gross, disturbing, and funny. All the things that I love in my books! If you wanna pass a few hours with a fetus that just won't die I cannot recommend this book enough. Adam Pepper does a fantastic job of sucking you in and not letting you go until the last page!

So wrong!,
By Benjamin K. Ethridge "Benjamin Kane Ethridge" (Rancho Cucamonga, California) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Super Fetus (Paperback)
You have to know what type of book you're getting into when you see a title like SUPER FETUS. To be surprised that it will be shocking, or not fulfilling on some kind of human level, is a level of naivety that I hope few people still possess. That said, the book is so off the wall that I personally couldn't take offense at any of its assaults-- I just had to read in estranged awe as the tale unfolded. It's a fun read. I don't imagine someone could put it down for lack of interest (maybe for religious or psychological reasons but not from boredom (hell no)). I saw another review here that criticizes the ending. Well, I take exception with that. I felt a little jarred at the end, but considering everything that had happened so far and the heights of depravity that Super Fetus reaches, isn't this the absolute correct ending? I'll let you be the judge. If you're not too squeamish or easily rattled and aren't particularly looking for anything but a dark, twisted thrill, I highly recommend this book to you!
