I would recommend this for rabbits under 7 lbs. I built a shelf across the slats on one side and my rabbit likes sitting up there. I also cover 1/3 of it with a dark towel so he has a "hiding" area that's always shady. I've used the cage for 3+ years and haven't had any problems. It's nice that it opens from the top (so I can change the water without bunny jumping out) and front (so he can hop in and out himself without having to be picked up). Good buy for this price, too. I've seen it for $40 at pet stores.
One other note - don't keep your rabbit caged up all the time. Mine has been much friendlier and well-behaved since he gets 4-6 hours out of the cage every day.

EDIT: I can't tell from the picture whether this cage has an opening on the top like mine does. It looks like the same model, but may not be. Mine is slightly longer than 30 inches, also, so I'd say only use this paricular one for very small rabbits or guinea pigs.

This cage is great for pet rats as well. I house my two pet rats in this cage, and they seem to like it. The deal buying it with the igloo is a good thing to consider, my rats love their super pet igloo as well. If you have a rat or other small pet that is sensitive to dust and ammonia this is a great bet as it provides superb ventilation.

Another good idea is to add some shelves or a hammock to provide more space and give them something to clamber on. If you do this you can house two or three rats in it. (Remember rats should be are social animals. Don't buy just one rat, please, please!)

My Koby loves his new home. He has enough room to run around and not hard to keep clean.

I bought this cage for my aging, incontinent 9-year old male rex. It's good enough to keep him dry, away from the corner he "goes" in. Previously a free-roaming rabbit, I leave the front door open day & night; he pokes his head out for petting a lot. I take the whole top off to clean & give hime space when he's not well enough to be "out".

An awesome sized & featured cage for training your bunny! A front door she (you hope, but sometimes a he) can hop out of. Take the top off and train her to use it as a litter in the corner of a room. Versatile!

I purchased the large Super Pet My First Home for my rabbit. This cage provides him with plenty of room to hop around and lay out comfortably. My nibbler can't nibble through those double-coated white wires.

My last rabbit cage had an opening in the top which allowed me to clean out the cage without lifting out the entire top. You might find it difficult to clean out the Super Pet cage through the small front opening. It would probably be easier to remove the entire top. Also, the Super Pet cage does not have reinforced sides. I have secured the ends of my cage with binding to prevent bunny from getting out when I'm not around.

The base is made of a lightweight plastic and is easy to clean.

I bought this cage second hand and it has been great for our lop eared bunny. He is more of a free roaming bunny, so the cage size is adequate for him to use as a resting and sleeping place at night. It houses a big litter box and food bowl comfortably. He has enough room to lounge. Clean up would be easier if there is an opening at the top since the front door is smaller. Would recommend a bigger cage if your bunny is always in the cage.
