When preorders for Super Mario Galaxy were taking place, I didn't have money at the time to do so. I was glad I was still able to get the commemorative coin off of Amazon for cheap. It's a lot smaller than I imagined, still I really enjoy it. Though, I only recommend paying money for this item if your a big Mario fan.

I pre-ordered Super Mario Galaxy at Toys R Us and when it came out, I picked up the game along with this commemorative coin and its package sleeve. The packaging features the art style used in the game and comes with its own certificate of authenticity. The coin itself looks and feels like those gold coins you would see promoted in TV infomercials with the image of Mario and a little star guy engraved. It was a nice surprise to get along with the game and I look at it from time to time. I was surprised also to see it here for sale on Amazon for a decent price. This item is purely for collectors so if you want to get your hands on it, go for it.
