5.0 out of 5 stars "Super Graphs" is a Super Book!, June 14, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Super Graphs, Venns, & Glyphs: Hundreds of Great Data Collecting Activities to Build Real-Life Math Skills (Grades 1-4) (Paperback)
"Super Graphs, Venns and Glyphs" is an excellent primary resource. I've used its creative, easy-to-follow, hands-on ideas in the past to enhance the First Grade graphing and data collecting goals in my classroom, and many of the Venns can easily be integrated into Language Arts. Even though the book is written specifically for Grades 1-3, I was able to bring many ideas down to the Kindergarten level this year. The author tells readers that her book is meant to be used as a starting point for ideas of our own. I highly recommend this book to those who would like to add some "sparkle" and creativity to their math units!

I have been using the book every week and every month. Great, useful ideas that are easy to use. Many ideas can be used at the last minute since there are not a lot of supplies needed. I bought it for the glyphs, but have found some new ideas for graphs and venns too. Helpful ideas to have your children think at a higher level.
