"Super Hero for a Day" is a great novel for young and old readers alike. It brought back so many memories from my days in school. Waking up early every morning, dreading Mondays and bullies...I hated bullies. Ty might not have been Mr. Popular but he shows them all that looks can be deceiving. We need more young people out in the world to understand that even if you don't "measure up" to the so called popular world, you are always unique in your own special way, and you don't have to have super powers to find out. Ruth did an outstanding job on this book and I support her 100%. I would recommend this book to all young readers and adult alike because you can definitely put yourself in Ty's shoes and feel what he is feeling and overcome any obstacles that get in your way.

I bought this book and then had a rough time getting my hands on it. All my kids and my husband read it before I could. It would disappear in to one room or another, only to appear briefly when the current reader finished and before the next one picked it up. Great story! I loved how it showed that we all have talents and something to give. The characters were believable and very real, as were their struggles and victories.

I bought this book last fall after it first came out and it is a wonderful story about realizing who you are and your own special talents. All through our lives we may doubt our abilities and gifts. They are all around us.This book shows us how to work through our doubts and recognize the talents and gifts we have. I hope the author writes many more books in this series.
They are very uplifting.
