4.0 out of 5 stars A Dance Pop Masterpiece
If the opener "You Can Fly" does not grab you, nothing else will. Gilbert & Morris' finest hour, and a fantastic, joyous departure from New Order's style. Along with their debut "The Other Two And You", essential for any pop music lover. Gillian's voice is a surprise, and the beats will hold your feet hostage.

3.0 out of 5 stars Forgot about new singer
I forgot they added a new singer to the sophomore album. Gillian still sings on several tracks, but it lacks the connectivity of the first album. When I first heard it, I thought they were just speeding up Gillians voice... The singer isn't even all that strong in my opinion. Sorry Melanie Williams. I am just a victim of preferring consistency. Glad to have these...

4.0 out of 5 stars A 3-TRACK CD SINGLE, June 18, 2005

1- Superhighways
2- Superhighways (Andy Votel mix)
3- You Can Fly (Cevin Fisher Mile High Club Mix)

I just don't understand why Amazon flat out refuses to catagorize this as a CD Single! I own the actual copy and it has the three songs I stated here AND the UPC matched!

I used their automated system to add in the information, I have called, and I have emailed all to no avail. I want you all to be aware because you may mistake this for a full-length cd as one of my buyers did with this copy. Unfortunately, Amazon thinks they know better!

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing must have, February 18, 2005
This review is from: Super Highways (Audio CD)
This Cd is an amazing piece of work by the other two members of New Order. Their debut album was a little lacking, but with their sophomore release they found it. This is an amazing compilation of songs that I can't stop playing. Being that I finally got hold of this cd 6 years after its release, it might as well have been released today. A must have for anyone that loves new order or any of the side projects. It's also a must have for people that are looking for REAL music from artists that know how to produce it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super Highways, September 26, 2002

Gillian and Stephen just don't get the credit they deserve. Gillian has a beautiful, innocent voice. Why she gets barely any vocal time on the New Order projects is beyond me. Super Highways contains more substance then their last album (there are only two instrumental songs here.) This album has some wonderful lyrics. You Can Fly is a nice dance track. Cold Feet is a great song. The album is worth the price for the last track , "Weird Woman." It mixes strings, syth and some super bass. This is one of the most simple and beautiful songs I have ever heard.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of the New Order side project albums, January 4, 2007

This was not an easy album to get ahold of back when it was released and it is even harder to find now, but it is an amazing album that is worth seeking out. I can't say that it is worth some of the really high prices I have seen listed for it, but then - what music is? Just take it from me that this is a great album - great melodies, very upbeat, good singing and lyrics, and lots of fun. I think this is the best album out of all the New Order side projects with the possible exception of Electronic's Raise the Pressure. For comparison's sake, this album is far better than The Other Two & You.

3.0 out of 5 stars Forgot about new singer, January 5, 2012

When I first heard it, I thought they were just speeding up Gillians voice... The singer isn't even all that strong in my opinion. Sorry Melanie Williams. I am just a victim of preferring consistency. Glad to have these remastered CDs all the same. When the light was going out of music in the nineties.... The other two still tried!

1.0 out of 5 stars Superhighway to hell ..., August 28, 2006
This review is from: Super Highways (Audio CD)
After having heard the first release from these to members of New Order I could not wait to listen to their second release. I searched high and low for it finally paying a hefty price ... only to be mortified by what I was hearing. Please do not wast your time or money.
