Get This One, NERVOS NIGHT, And HOOTERIZATION,
By
This review is from: Super Hits (Audio CD)
If you buy this CD along with NERVOUS NIGHT and HOOTERIZATION, you will have everything you need by the Hooters. Each contains some songs not on the others, so to truly have the best of this wonderful Philadelphia band, you really need all three CDs, even if NERVOUS NIGHT was the band's defining moment.

Budget Best Of Collection,
By
This review is from: Super Hits (Audio CD)
There are a lot of Hooters compilations available. I think they actually outnumber the band's studio albums at this point. I'll leave it to serious Hooters fans to debate the pros and cons of each compilation. I just wanted a decent-sounding collection of the band's best-known hits, and I didn't want to spend more than a couple of bucks on it. That's where the Super Hits collection comes in handy.
The Super Hits line typically collects 10 of an artist's biggest hits into a bare-bones, budget-priced release that can often be found at gas stations and drug stores (or in my case the cutout bin at a local record show). You're not going to get a comprehensive anthology, nor will you get digitally remastered sound, but sometimes that's just not necessary. Serious Hooters fans will want nothing to do with this one, but if you're like me and don't love the band but enjoy their hits just enough to pick up a compilation, Super Hits should do nicely.

TOO Many Best Hits Collections,
By retro-man-retro "Creative Juices" (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Super Hits (Audio CD)
That's right! There's Too Many "Best Hits Collections" of these guys. At last count there were more collections of Hooter songs than original albums issued. That's just plain WAKED. I suggest buying "zig zag", "Nervous Night" and "One Way Home" via the used venue here on amazon. This way you own ALL of the great music & YOU decide what their best hits are for yourself, don't let some record industry suit do it for you.
