Their Super Hits,
This review is from: Super Hits (Audio CD)
While this CD may not be the ultimate, it does give you Men At Work's top 5 hits (Who Can It Be Now?, Down Under, Be Good Johnny, Overkill, It's a Mistake), 1 more fantastic track from their "Business As Usual" album (Down By The Sea), and 2 great tracks from their "Two Hearts" album (Maria, Man With Two Hearts). Unfortunately it also includes 1 mediocre track (Everything I Need) and 1 extremely questionable track (Sail To You--why is this on here???).
I purchased this CD after I purchased "The Essential Men At Work" because even though I love the boys from "Down Under", all of the mediocre filler tracks on that CD and the other longer MAW compilations were just tiresome to listen to (I mean, really!...they only had three albums!). So if you're looking for MAW's biggest hits and a few other great songs without having to skip through half the CD, pick this one up.

Poor representation of songs,
By
This review is from: Super Hits (MP3 Download)
While it's true this set features the five most popular songs from the Australian group, the overemphasis on the groups third album Two Hearts is disappointing. "Everything I need" was a chart single, and both "Maria" and "Man with Two Hearts" received airplay. Pick one of those and drop "Sail to You" to make more room for songs from Cargo or Business as Usual.
In particular, the top 40 single "Dr. Heckyl and Mr. Jive" from Cargo is missing from this set, along with Business at Usual's other airplay single "Underground." The first two Men at Work albums are deep enough that even casual fans should consider buying both albums or sticking to downloading the hit singles, ultimately making a poor compilation such as this one less than idea for either audience.

Short and Sweet!,

I know many reviewers aren't crazy about this greatest hits compilation due to its brevity. On the contrary, I think its the best single disc Men At Work collection out there for the casual fan looking for the greatest concentration of the hits that they know and love. I converted my cassette collection to CDs last year and thought it would be a good move to see if I could get one greatest hits collection CD to replace my Business As Usual, Cargo, and Two Hearts cassettes. This Super Hits CD was the only single disc collection that had all of my favorite songs from these three cassettes. So I bought it and love it!

Let's Know Their Works,

Great new compilation about Men at work songs. This is right for someone that want to start listening their music seriously. But if you are looking for more musics, are more options, like 'The Works' or 'Contraband'.

In addition to the other reviews that show what is missing from this set (and what should have been left out), I can't believe nobody has mentioned the lack of the awesome single (and video) "High Wire" (from Cargo), and the best song from 2 Hearts, "Snakes and Ladders". Many of these budget greatest hits collections purposely leave out a great song or two, so that the regular releases still sell.

One of the successful (ACDC being the most) Australian bands for the non-metal music that they produced during the 80's...Even today, "who can it be now," and
"Down under" enjoy good air time on the classic stations. If you enjoy a good solid sounding band(colin hayes vocals don't hurt either), then this album is for you..Love it..

This collection has all of the good songs that I remember from Men at Work and some others that I was not too familiar with. All in all, well worth the price.

This simple 10 track budget CD takes tracks from the bands 3 1980s albums, and features most of the hits and singles (Dr. Heckyll and Mr Jive is missing), but what makes it stand out is that although it doesn't make any note of it on the CD, included here is the 5:48 Francois Kevorkian 12" mix of "Sail To You" from the band's 3rd LP. The full track listing is:
1. who can it be now (3:24) 2. down under (3:41) 3. be good johnny (3:36) 4. overkill (3:45) 5. down by the sea (6:49) 6. maria (4:33) 7. man with two hearts (3:55) 8. everything i need (3:36) 9. sail to you (5:48) 10. it's a mistake (4:33)
