This is not the most complete Toto collection you can buy, or the best, but it tends to be the least expensive, and gives a good retrospective of Toto's most popular years as a group. Largely forgotten gems like "99" and "Georgy Porgy" (check out special guest vocalist Cheryl Lynn ["Got To Be Real"] on the chorus) show that there was more here than just "Rosanna" and "Africa."

Serious fans will want more Toto than this collection offers, and should also check out some of their excellent contemporary work. But casual fans will get more than enough of this great group from "Super Hits"

Good songs, super even, as usual from Toto, but there are only a few hits, accompanied by quite a lot of relatively insignificant tracks. Don't waste your money on this - the 'Past to present' compilation, though not perfect, is a far better example of Toto's best work and covers most of their hits.

I've been a Toto fan since "The Seventh One" came out in 1988. "Toto IV", "Fahrenheit" and the forementioned "The Seventh One" I believe to be their best albums. It is hard to put together a "Hits" album for a band that has been creating music and memories for over 20 years (!) but I don't think this one is worthy of it being called a "Hits" album. "Toto Past to Present", which I only gave 3 stars because I thought that it was lacking some of their better music, is still a cut above this one. Of course, it also comes down to which style of their music you are a fan of. When I think of Toto, I think of their ballads and pop hits - songs such as "Africa", "Rosanna", "I Won't Hold You Back", "I'll Be Over You", etc. Other Toto fans appreciate their rock hits, such as "Hold the Line", "Stranger in Town", "St. George and the Dragon", etc.

In my opinion, bottom line on this album is that it contains some of their less-known mediocre hits, such as "Isolation" and "Live For Today" - these 2 don't belong on a hits album! However, if you are a casual fan of Toto, or don't really know of them, there are of course good songs on here. But I would recommend spending your money or one of their truly fabulous albums from the 80's, such as "Toto IV" or "Fahrenheit."
