great music, great writer, great band,

this is a somewhat accurate representation of The Verve Pipe.
it's missing some great songs, but it's a great place to start if you are interested in the band. the cool thing is that each recording with this band was progressively better than the last. Although The Freshmen was the biggest hit and had several great tunes, the last CD titled, UNDERNEATH, was a much better record. i own them all and wouldn't give a single one of them away

I liked their use of different styles for each song. Most new pop bands all sound the same. In one song they'll bring in a keyboard, in another a strong guitar lead and I really like the dominance of the drums. Haven't seen that since my day.
