This cd marks where the entire world must admit that lee perry is the music! The creator of reggae and dub music reinvents himsself once again in this highly underappreciated release. The problem is many of the old upsetter fans are not keen enough to enjoy the flurry, power, and wit demonstrated on such tracks as "thunder and lightning" and "nasty spell". And many of the jungle fans of the world have never even heard of lee perry so they don't even realize he is jungle music! This album went virtually unnoticed by the masses in 1995. But five years later this exciting and ground breaking album is more enjoyable than ever. Buy it and DANCE<DANCE<DANCE

People looking for dub or reggae will not find it on this disc. If you want to experience where dub influences jungle or drum & bass dance music styles, this is a must-have. Yep, "Scratch" is still there, ranting away. Basically, the remixes were remixed into modern jungle style in the mid-90's. I am a hardcore dub fan, but I liked this a lot. It's all about the bass and the drums, after all! An atypical release for Perry.

No this is not roots or dub, the d&b format works here tho. Some woofer punishing bass too. Not essential Scratch by any means but good nonetheless.

'spose I'll end up getting all of Mad Professor. They're all too good in the mix

This brought me to a new SPACE. Crazy shaman Perry and that great Mad Professor take jungle to the deepest darkest depths of dance.
If your looking for something that will make you happy take one of these.

I picked a copy up in some San Francisco cd cut out store for two bucks.. I wish I had my two bucks back. This is "BAD meaning BAD, not BAD meaning good."

blah- typical boring work from Scratch and Ariwa. Not worth it. If you want good Scratch, you have to get the earlier stuff. This isn't worth your money.
