I've presided over 20,000 hires so far in my career and I am convinced that Peter Studner's Super Job Search is simply *the best* book about how to get a job on the market. I recommend it...every time an out-of-work person calls me. I'm a headhunter. Peter's book tells readers not to call headhunters, so when someone calls, I automatically know they need to read it. I offer to meet with anyone who wants to pick my brain, but not until after they have read Super Job Search. Their having read it makes a dramatic difference in the value they get from our conversation. Buy it. It's the best.John Wentworth

Seems like ths is advice that is firmy stuck in the 1990's. As all job search books, there are some good ideas and examples, but nothing earth-shattering. There has to be more up to date and contemporary books out here. That's my story, I'm sticking to it....

If you buy the book and read it you won't get a job.If you buy the book and follow the guidelines you will get a job, it will be the best job for you, and you will be able to negotiate a salary that's higher than you expecteed to get. It breaks everything down in a day by day step by step way and it works. I worked at a job I didn't like and couldn't get a raise and the book helped me get into a job that pays 20% more and has benefits and raises. The thing is you have to be motivated to follow the steps through. It helps you organize your campaign in the best and easiest possible way. Buy the book and work the book and you will have more confidence in yourself and have better opportunities.
