I bought this tape in hope of finding a few tips to help me study for the LSATs. What a dissapointment. The entire tape is dialogue of the two authors telling you stories of how "Superlearning techniques" helped someone learn someting or how it affected a study. Mind you it never got into detail of how to accomplish this superlearning,I assume they werehinting that all would be revealed if you were to shell out for the series. Save yor money or just send them a donation and save the shipping charges

I like the music, and I especially love the deep tones that you hear now and then. I found the Deep Focus CD a little jarring, so I'm glad the Super Learning CD helped me focus. While listening to the CD, I was able to quickly focus on a task that I've been procrastinating on and dreading for days. Usually, if I force myself to sit down and go for it, it takes an hour to get focused (I'll keep checking email or looking something up).

I only have one warning: Don't let your cat hear it. As I was listening to the CD, I noticed that my cat started to get more and more freaked out. She kept looking at the speakers. She was on my legs and wouldn't get off. She started attacking me every time I tried to move her, so I yelled for my husband and she bolted when he came in. It took 10 minutes after turning off the CD before we were able to calm her down.

This is one of my favorite CD's by Kelly Howell. I can not recommend it highly enough. As an older adult going back to school to compete with the younger adults, I found this CD extremely valuable. I would listen to it while going to sleep, and then again while studying. I just graduated as an A student in nursing. I would not use it while driving. It enters you into a theta state. I also noticed a previous comment about a cat responding negatively to it. Although each cat has their own personality, my cats were not bothered by it.

I have severe tinnitus and have used music to mask the noise while I fall asleep at night. I discovered Kelly Howell's subliminal cd's and figured "why not add another possible benefit to time already spent". I now have several of them and enjoy them thoroughly. Granted some parts are not very "musical" but as background noise they are very sufficient. Maybe I am wealthier, leaner and/or smarter as a result, maybe not, but it sure beats what some people call music. I suggest you do not spend your last dime thinking this will turn your world around but for those already on "the road" it just might be useful.
