I've tried many types of ear plugs to block out noise and this is by far the best one I've used.

The size of the ear plug is perfect size and it expands and fits perfectly in the ear canal to block out noise. Other ear plugs can be too hard or too soft or feel awkward wearing but these fit great.

I use them to study and sleep in noisy areas. This package also contains a small plastic carrying case that can carry about a pair of ear plugs. The case is handy so you can carry them with you anywhere you go. The price is also very reasonable here on amazon. I definitely recommend them to block out all types of noise.

My 6 year old has tubes in her ears, yet LOVES to swim! I have tried ALL types of ear plugs and these are by far the best! I used to use the type that were like putty, and I had to press them in her hear so hard, it hurt her.

Now that I have used the foam ear plugs, I will never use another! They are comfortable and keep my childs ears dry even when she in the pool for a long time.

My roomate is a really nice person, but she is very loud when she sleeps. I use these earplugs to help myself get to sleep, and they work wonderfully.

This is the best ear plugs I have used so far. I study a few feet behind our TV, yet I can still concentrate without spoiling other's good time.

Thought i would write a review for people who want earplugs for shooting, since the other reviews are based on people who use these for sleeping, etc.

I bought 6 packages of these because i got tired of always forgetting to bring earplugs with me to the firing range. Now i keep a set pretty much everywhere. These things actually muffle the sound of a shotgun to an extremely low level. The earplugs stay in quite well (some other brands i have tried fall out sometimes). Since now i am always the only one that remembers to bring earplugs, i am frequently giving out pairs to friends, and they all agree that they are as good as they come.

On an interesting side-note, you can still hear people talking pretty well... i've never had to pull out my plugs to have a conversation with someone. I'm not really sure how well these work for filtering ambient noise (on an airplane, etc) because i haven't actually tried that, but they really work well for LOUD noise!!!
