I agree with the other 2 reviews, this has been a great toy! We were just looking for something different for Christmas, and this fit the bill. Our three kids (ages 3,3 & 6) all enjoy playing with it, and so do we!
I do wish it came with about twice as many pieces for the price, but it's still just a lot of fun to see what you can create. The magnets are strong and the size of the pieces are great for even as young as 3 yrs old. Plus, it's so easy to clean up since everything sticks together. We may buy another set just to add to the design capabilities. Highly recommended!

My son, age 5, LOVES this toy... it has really brought out his creativity and engineering skills.

So far this toy has been a big hit with both my kids and the adults. My three year old is playing with them right now and enjoying herself immensely. It's a fun toy and actually stays together. I would buy them again and definitely recommend them!

We got these for my son who is 2.5 for Christmas. They are a hit and his Dad likes playing with them too. :) I agree with the other reviewers that the # of pieces does seem small, but its definitely enough to keep him occupied. We plan to add another set and the price is really good compared to other sets I've looked at locally. A tip - try using these on a cookie sheet. The magnets stick to it and allow you to make all kinds of very sturdy structures, bridge-type things, etc. Its his favorite way to play with them.

I thought these sticks were 5" and the bearings were 2". NO, they are very small 3" plastic sticks with 1" bearings.

That said, we absolutely love playing with this and grown-ups have to restrain themselves from taking over!

The only downside to this toy is that structures higher than 1 story collapse from the bearings' weight.

Do not buy this for toddlers as pieces are definitely a choke hazard !!

This was a Christmas present for a 1st grader. She really enjoyed it at first, but quickly lost interest. For the price there are not enough parts, limiting what can be built. Hopefully she will gain new interest with them after they sit for a while.

This is a fun toy. I just let the pieces sit on the dining room table. Both kids and adults will enjoy
playing around, designing different things.

Lots of play value, Grandson already had a set, wanted to be able to build more things, delighted with the gift.

All I know is the look on my Grandsons face when he opened his gift. He said "I always wanted these. Must be they are a lot of fun because my husband, 2 year old (under supervision) and grandson played all afternoon with them. they made some pretty creative things.

I purchased this product for my grandma room years ago. My grand kids have loved them. They are not for younger kids because of the small parts that can be put into mouths but the older kids will build with them for hours. I purchased another set for my grandson who lives across the country from me. They are his favorite toy when he visits.
