4.0 out of 5 stars A fascinating look at our environment
Supernature was simply amazing. The quality of the research conducted by the author is superb and has lead to a truly fascinating read. In exploring the supernatural world, Lyall Watson explores the concepts of ESP, physchokinesis and telepathy within nature. His explanations are concise and easy to understand, contributing to the enormous amount of material he has...

3.0 out of 5 stars Read With Caution
Supernature comes up with some amazing observations and facts. However, although Watson is clearly trying to be objective and uses a variety of sources, some (and only some) of his sources are extremely questionable. For example, the most amazing claims on the subject of ESP, telepathy etc can all be traced to a book "Psychic Experiments behind the Iron...

Supernature comes up with some amazing observations and facts. However, although Watson is clearly trying to be objective and uses a variety of sources, some (and only some) of his sources are extremely questionable. For example, the most amazing claims on the subject of ESP, telepathy etc can all be traced to a book "Psychic Experiments behind the Iron Curtain". This is a fascinating book and a good read on top of it, but do check out the footnotes before converting.

Supernature was simply amazing. The quality of the research conducted by the author is superb and has lead to a truly fascinating read. In exploring the supernatural world, Lyall Watson explores the concepts of ESP, physchokinesis and telepathy within nature. His explanations are concise and easy to understand, contributing to the enormous amount of material he has found. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in zoology, engineering, psychoanalysis, or anyone for that matter. Ranging from plants that can detect the death of a snail, to apparently "psychic" clams, this book will definitely give you a new insight into your world.

1.0 out of 5 stars They have taken the word "gullible" out of the dictionary...., December 14, 2005

Err... how dimwitted are you? He made it up. He admits he made it up. When asked about his sources (on, for example the monkey washing thing) he said" Oh, well, I dont have any actual sources, but this is what might have happened"!

Fraud. Flimflam. Wrong. Incorrect. Gellerism. Made-up. Barnumism. Joke. Hoax. Hoakum. etc etc.
