Emulation is the sincerest form of flattery, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone even remotely flattered by this thing. It's a poor substitute for the feel and the performance of the original. The buttons don't spring back into place, they jiggle inside their sockets, and the shoulder buttons click and stick. Even the board on the inside is flimsy and poorly constructed. If you're hoping to mod this and turn it into a PC controller, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I give this two stars because it's very hard to beat this price, and because it is, despite its flaws, an operational controller for the Super Nintendo.

There are a bunch of cheap SNES controllers manufactured by various people. Most of them are cheaply made and fragile, though I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are actually good.

A generic SNES controller replica was actually the first type of controller I bought (though I had used a Nintendo-made SNES controller many times before). It was less than $2 ($1.50, I think), so it was quite cheap. However, I didn't realize that it was a cheap knock-off until I got it, and because the thing is so cheap, I would have lost more money returning it. So I still have it. I still have it, but it's overshadowed by two Nintendo-made controllers and two Fighter Stick SN controllers.

Generic controllers are cheaply made; they wear down quickly, have mushy and jiggling buttons, and feel almost like paper. Mine also has a horribly short cord.

In NO WAY do I recommend this controller. If you can't afford a used one manufactured by Nintendo, wait until you can, because this is simply not a suitable replacement.

I have 3 of these pads and although they dont have the same feeling as an official pad, they are cheap, easy to get, and you can buy them by the dozen. Out of the pads I bought I actually found one to not be as good as the other two. If you are going to buy them buy at least two. When it comes to street fighter or something then equal tools really do matter. These pads work pretty well though, and are the right shape, prefect for a blast on Probotector or megaman.

Bought two of these not realizing they were knockoffs, thinking that they were just repackaged originals. When I opened the first box I knew something was wrong with the controller immediately. The label for the xyab buttons fell off right away and the controller itself feels very stiff.

Save your money and look for the authentic controllers.

The controller came very fast, started to play f-zero right away, and all the buttons worked purrrrrrrrfectly. I tried mario kart everything was great, tetris, dr mario, and kirby. The buttons worked perfeckly for all of them. The only reason why that this does not get 5 stars is because it was not the original nintendo brand controller. It was a bootleg from china. The L&R buttons were a little stiff, but thats fine. Over all a great deal

This is not truly a super Nintendo controller. It is a terrible knock off, that is light weight, has a tiny chord, and looks the same, but has no Nintendo insignia on it. Please advertise what product really is. Despite the fact that it was only a penny, it is not worth it because the quality of the product is very low in comparison to its real counterpart.

I have one of these generic SNES looking controllers that their only good is tricking people at used video game stores. The R and L buttons feel unbelievably cheap. The face buttons are ok, but not great, and there's something off about the d-pad. Also, the entire thing feels incredibly, incredibly cheap, like it's going to shatter in my hands by just holding it. Too bad I can't even use it because when I plug it in it shuts off my SNES. If it's plugged in you can't make it turn on at all! When I bought my SNES this came with it and I thought my SNES was broken because I couldn't turn it on.

Bottom line: AVOID !~!~!~!

This controller did not work. I was unable to move the way that I would with a Nintendo controller. Save the shipping and handling and pay the extra for a Nintendo controller.

You can press the buttons sometimes and have it totally not register on the snes. feels very cheap, very plastic-y.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTROLLER AT ALL COSTS. controller is very cheap.

This was a third party knock off designed to look like an original. The original SNES controller was manufactured in Japan. This controller is from China. The buttons are a little loose and the D-pad sticks up a little uncomfortably.
