PLease do not buy this item. My hampster leg got caught in the spokes and he died. It was so sad. I bought the wrong cage,

Our teddy bear hamster constantly squeezed under the wire bars and escaped. The door was very difficult for a child to open and wood chips scattered everywhere, making a mess. We do NOT recommend this cage.
