I have the small one and like it very much. You can get very creative with how you jazz it up. I put rope perches on the top bit that hangs the toys for extra perching fun. Your bird is going to hang out there anyway, lol. The stand is sturdy, attractive and easy to clean. I do not like the food and water dishes down below where they easily collect dander and poo so I put different ones that are up near the top of the stand.

Assembly should have been a snap. Basically you just slide metal bars into other metal bars to form the main structure. One of my bars was not made small enough to slide inside the other and I had to take the hammer to it make it smaller so it would fit. I am sure this was not just me assembling it in incorrectly. This piece could of easily of been installed the opposite way but it would not slide into the other hole either.

The bird likes it, and it is a good size
When I got it put together or should I say almost all put together I found some of the parts were damaged. Almost looked like it was a returned item. To be fair Amazon sent another but this one was together so sent the new one back. Didn't want to put another one together or send the old one back. So I will live with it , and the bird doesn't know the difference.

Everyone else has already said it but this package showed up in pretty awful condition. The box was battered and torn. A few of the pieces were bent, mainly the seed guards, but nothing that was crucial or impossible to fix. The best tool for putting this thing together is a rubber mallet! SO glad we had one handy. It took some effort and some banging but we got this thing put together in less than an hour. We have an average sized African Grey and she seems a little small for this playground. I'm hoping that once she gets used to it she'll climb around it some more but as of right now she's a little apprehensive.
We took the swing out of the middle and hung a coiled boing and she loves that. Overall, definitely worth the money. It rolls easily and Maggie loves being able to hang out with us wherever we go. I would recommend this but keep in mind that this is not going to be constructed as well as your cage is.
