Super Pet Ferret and Rabbit Come Along Large Carrier, Colors Vary

I have a young mini rex who gave one tug on the doorway within 2 minutes of me putting him in the carrier, and the zipper popped off the track. Another tug, and the second zipper came off. Spent the remainder of the 1hr ride in the car holding the door shut with one hand (while driving stick). Was also incredibly tight for a small bunny - he could barely turn around - and this is a 4 lb MINI rabbit.
Spend the extra $5 and get a hard plastic pet carrier.

My daughter loved the pet carrier for her rabbit. We used it to bring the rabbit to school for show and tell for their Easter party. The kids were thrilled and I was glad I had it because her pet had an accident while we were driving home. Good thing I lined the carrier with trainer pads so it was easy to clean plus ofcourse it was made of vinyl plastic in the first place.

I bought the blue carrier just like this and my female rat tore up the bottom in the short amount of time she spent it in it. After that she chewed on the zipper and I could no longer zip up the one side. I figured she was just too vicious (she was a biter and we got rid of her after her babies were born). I bought the pink one a month later and it worked great when all my rats were babies, but it's a tight fit for my four boys (who are fully grown now). They ripped up the bottom plastic lining in no time at all, but there are no problems with the zipper or the wire siding--yet. All in all, it works great if you don't have to house small animals for an extended period of time, but if you have to keep them in it for more than a half an hour, buy another carrier--your animals will tear it apart. It's not worth it.

The carrier was much larger than I expected, but it didn't cause any problems.
My only issues were the two large tears in the product itself. I'm not sure if this was due to inappropriate packaging, or a bad defect in my particular case. Unfortunately, we were using the carrier for our ball python, so tears were unacceptable. We returned it soon after we got it. Other than that, it arrived on time, and was clean.

We love the pet carrier. It is perfect for traveling with our two bunnies and works as a temporary hang out while we clean their full time home/cage. The inside vinyl lining makes for easy clean up.

The carrier I received was bright neon green versus the dull red from the picture. The side net screen is shaped like a heart and does not have a zipper. Furthermore, the carrier has a horrible chemical smell.

This carrier was nice to have for the trip home after picking up my bunnies. They were comfortable with a little hay in the bottom and we could peek in at them to make sure they looked like they were doing okay. When I'm not using it to carry the bunnies, I use it to store hay!

Don't believe them when they advertise this carrier as an option for traveling ferrets. A ferret's sharp claws easily claw through the plastic liner on the inside of the case, leaving them surrounded in shreds of plastic and having destroyed the barrier that was supposed to keep liquids in, rather than on someone's lap or car seat. Also, it is a well know fact that ferrets prefer to poop in corners. This carrier has to-the-floor zippers in all corners, meaning that, rather than wiping up any poop at the end of the trip, you find yourself either giving up cleanliness or picking dried poop out of the teeth of the zipper with a toothpick. My ferret also discovered how to unzip the case and find her freedom.

Overall, this carrier may be okay other small animals, but don't purchase this carrier for a ferret. Bad idea.

Shortly after putting my ferret in this carrier, she managed to tear up the very thin plastic liner on the interior and ended up swallowing a piece. This caused a intestinal blockage which required a trip to the vet and a lot of discomfort for my ferret. While the carrier may be good for some animals, I would highly discourage anyone with a ferret or other animal that likes to dig from buying this. The interior is very cheaply made and this carrier should be avioded.
