I got this toy for my son. Everytime the big vacumm came out he would want to play with it. So out of nessecity I started looking at vacumm toys. The age reccomendation is 3 and up but my son is 18months and loves it. At first the real noise scared him so we used it turned off. Now at 19 months he is all over the house with this toy turned on. IT ACTUALLY PICKS UP!! I have to empty the chamber b/c it does pick up hair and small dirt pieces. The price was right. Originally looked at the mini-dysons but this one was much more affordable durable and just a great toy he will enjoy fir the next couple of years (i hope) you cant go wrong buying this product!!

I researched a durable vaccuum for my 2-year old and this was adorable! But after just a few short hours, the button that holds on the smaller vac part, kept popping off and the toy was useless after that--my son kept getting really mad--cute toy if only the button would have worked--maybe mine was defective--who knows!

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT MY SON JUST LOVES IT AND PLAYS WITH IT FOR HOURS

My son loves this vacuum and it has been played with for over two years and still works. I has been dropped several times, but motor keeps going. Very well built toy and fun to play.

My Grandson loves to vacuum. He is 2and still plays with it more than any other toy I have bought for him.

I ordered this for my two year old grandson that has a burning desire to vacuum. When we put batteries in the unit there appeared to be a defective connection somewhere, but it did begin to work. Now, after two days of use, it will not turn on at all. It even resulted in a short circuit somewhere that caused the batteries to over heat to the point of burning the labeling off the battery case. I didn't think C cells could get that hot. I am very disappointed with this especially for the high cost. Don't waste your money!

My son received this for christmas and he will be 3 this week,he loves it,he follows me around the house all day with it.The only thing is we changed the battery twice I guess because he is using it so much..

This hoover (sorry Vacuum...I'm British, they're all called hoovers!) is great. Its a great colour for boys or girls and it really does pick up. The only difficult part is the recline button which is a foot pedal as it would be on a real hoover. My son, who is 3, finds it a little difficult to push down the pedal with his foot without falling over the toy! He now does the pedal by hand so he's completely happy!
This is a product from the Early Learning Centre and there stuff is usually quite robust so should last us a couple of years!
