Red Label Violin Strings, July 7, 2009

These strings are easy to install and produce adequate sound and vibrant tones for a student violin. My children play and pluck on the strings and they hold up fairly well to their wear and tear. My only caution is to avoid over-tightening the strings as too much tension may cause the bridge to collapse or the string to snap at tuning end of the violin's neck. Found this out the hard way....Other than that, the price is fair, especially for student violinists and produces adequate sound and timber.
