In the now huge range of things going on in the post Rave "electronica" dance scene there are those on the left or so like Squarepusher who push the boundaries between avant garde and alternative music and over on the other side (maybe that would be left of center?) we have trance Dj's that push the boundaries between pop kitsch and pumped-full-of-drugged spirituality and trans global party hedonism. The truth is I just might love it all.
Here Dj Yahel...from the now hip as **** Israeli trance scene that has also brought us Infected Mushroom. This bit of techno sparkly trip to global dance culture heaven made me stay up all night two nights in a row with just my headphones by myself. Just imagine what this could do for your party. This the kind of CD that could ruin young minds and create a whole new generation of nightclub owners and party manufactures. Gawd damn.
Is this a "classic" worthy of five stars? Probably not really a classic..but you never know. It gets my five stars because it is so full of life and super contemporary. As well as being as addicting as crack or potato chips. There are also some really great unpredictable vocal treats and some emotive guest vocalists so good you could play it in Nashville. And you can't say this about Squarepusher.

Bought this CD on the back of super set I which i thought was an excellent mixed CD by Yahel. However, this CD although with it's excellent track listing great vocal tracks namely 'Ocean' with Tammy was a bit of a let down due to it's unmixed format. Why call it super set II when basically it's a colaboration of some new tracks and remixed tracks. Should have self titled it as the super set title is a little miss leading given that super set I was a mixed CD. Would have definately been a 5 star CD if it was a DJ mixed set.

Have no doubt that every pennny spent on this double CD is worth it. There is a bonus CD of great slow songs as well.
