I listened to the CD last night, and I feel compelled to give my reaction.
usually when i hear a cd for the first time i will listen to a little bit from each track then skip to the next one, to kind of get a feel for the cd. i didnt do that with super sex hero. it immediately put me in a mindstate that i am not used to. i didnt skip around, fast forward or anything, i let each track come at me as it was intended to.
it was cool as hell. it evoked a mood that i cant describe, but liked. i tried to pay close attention to artistry of it, but really i don't know a damn thing about the technical side of music, all i know is that it sounded really good together, the vocals were moody, erotic, and exotic, and the sound was really cool. the guitar especially seemed intricate and complicated, but not distracting from the overall sound.
after listening to the cd i do have some personal favorites, though. i enjoyed out, out pt.2, and desert 2000 the best, but that is just on my first listening. o and mr. gravity is funny as hell.
over all, really cool cd that i think broadened my horizons a little.
