Not really ergonomic,

The handle is different but certainly not better and certainly not ergonomic.
To be ergonomic, the handle should be positioned OVER the blade, rather than behind it. Positioning the handle over the blade would allow you to use your arm strength and weight to make cuts - not just the strength of your wrist, as is the case. It was no better than a regular knife handle - probably worse because of the position of the handle. Also the tip rises at the end. This makes it difficult to chop things. The tip never meets the board unless you tilt the knife up at an absurd angle. This isn't really helpful if you have wrist problems as I do - not to mention the whole reason I bought the knife in the first place. The seller is great but the product is not. I would not recommend this product. |
